6.1 Investments

A hot-rolled strip production plant is an integrated unit comprising an electric steel mill, a thin-slab continuous caster, a furnace and a rolling mill, along with all the necessary ancillary installations (electricity, fluids, dust collection, buildings, civil engineering, etc.).

For such a complex (including the electric steel mill), the investments, announced in the technical press, are given in [Doc. M 7 814] .
