3. Advantages and possibilities of continuous processing of steel products

By examining the development of continuous production lines in the iron and steel industry from the angle of, on the one hand, the production of metal in a solid state (reduced ore or DRI/HBI) or liquid state (cast iron or steel) and, on the other hand, the manufacture of a hot-rolled product from liquid steel, we have been able to see how such concepts are currently looking, what the first achievements have been, and what their future may hold.
