bellow, slab

Semi-finished steel product. A parallelepipedic block weighing up to thirty tons. This is the product from which sheet or plate is rolled.

nozzle

Nozzle for gravity flow of liquid metal from a tundish or ladle.

champ magnétique, magnetic field

Vector field defined at any point in space, used to model and quantify the magnetic effects of electric current or magnetic materials such as permanent magnets (here measured in Tesla).

coulée coutinue, continuous casting

Process for solidifying molten metal by filling a cooled mold with liquid metal and continuously extracting the metal from the mold.
