9. Conclusion

When you're building structures for a very long time, it's much more economical to plan for quality from the outset, and you also need to consider the maintenance of your protection from the outset, to ensure that it's appropriate and competitive. That's the whole point of protection by liquid paint systems, and it's a framework that many of today's specifications are fully developing.

Thanks to this approach, which is in line with the notion of "sustainable development", steel construction is a winner, with the added advantage of controlled maintenance and highly competitive long-term costs.
