4. Study of electrochemical processes

The measurement of the impedance of an electrochemical interface has been applied in many sectors. While the study of corrosion and corrosion protection accounts for 70% of applications, energy sources, electrocrystallization, materials characterization... are among the other fields where the use of this technique has yielded valuable results.

Various applications that illustrate the use of electrochemical impedances are described below: some aim to elucidate a reaction mechanism, while others simply propose a test of correct operation.
