For a very long time, it was difficult to classify temporary protection products and specify their characteristics and performance. MIL or AIR standards and specifications are too restrictive.
As we can see, temporary protection is inseparable from the other techniques used before and after it. On the whole, it can be said that the products needed to solve these problems do exist. The role of the user and the manufacturer is above all to adapt these existing products, on the one hand to the particular requirements of each case, and on the other hand to the technical possibilities of film application and product design. But this is not enough: the most suitable product is not a panacea.
