Wireless contact
Any contact subjected to high pressure, in excess of 200 MPa.
Elastohydrodynamic (EHD) regime
The EHD lubrication regime occurs in contacts between non-conforming surfaces, subject to a punching effect. The hydrodynamic equilibrium of the lubricant film is coupled with the elastic deformation of the surfaces in contact, hence the term "elastohydrodynamic".
Isotherm
Qualifies operation at constant temperature.
Isoviscous
A fluid whose viscosity does not depend on pressure.
Piezovisque
Refers to a fluid whose viscosity depends on pressure.
Newtonian fluid
Describes a fluid with purely viscous behavior....
