Clogging; fouling

Drop in separation performance due to accumulation of material on the membrane surface and in the pores.

Membrane; membrane

A structure with lateral dimensions far greater than its thickness, through which material can be transferred under the action of different types of driving force.

Biobased polymer; Polymère biosourcé

Polymer, in whole or in part, produced from renewable resources.
