2. Validation of bioactive tissues

Validating a bioactive textile is an important step, in terms of communication, regulations, efficacy and safety.

2.1 Safety

These bioactive tissues contain molecules for destroying living beings, and it is essential to validate their safety in relation to their use, before they are marketed.

In France, the Direction Générale de la Concurrence, de la Consommation et de la Répression des Fraudes (DGCCRF) has already recalled this type of product or recommended that it not be marketed.

For example, socks that "inhibited the growth of bacteria on the skin" were considered to be disinfectants.
