Textiles incorporating nanotechnologies are already on the consumer market. However, measuring the exact size of the market is very complex. They are estimated to represent a market of around 13 billion euros in 2007. which should have increased tenfold in 2012. The figures more recently published by Trends Market Research are lower: an estimated 4.6 billion euros in 2019, with growth still expected. Analysts are forecasting 13.3 billion euros in 2024.
