3Y-TZP

Zirconia stabilized in the quadratic phase by 3 mol% yttrium oxide Y 2 O 3 .

Mg-PSZ

Zirconia partially stabilized by magnesium oxide, with a predominantly cubic phase containing quadratic (or monoclinic) phase precipitates.

PTH ; THR

Total hip replacement (THR), consisting of a stem fixed in the femur, to which the head of the prosthesis is attached (by conical fitting). The head articulates in the cup, which in turn is inserted into a metal-back fixed in the patient's acetabular cavity (pelvis).
