Andalusite

Mineral species of the silicate subgroup of the nesosubsilicates, with formula Al 2 SiO 5 .

AOD

The AOD (Argon Oxygen Decarburization) process decarburizes stainless steels in a converter fitted with immersed side nozzles.

Bauxite

Mineral species with high alumina content consisting mainly of alumina hydrates: Al(OH) 3 (bayerite and gibbsite, monoclinic) and AlO(OH) (diaspore and boehmite, orthorhombic).
