2. Consider collective protection
The analysis here consists in assessing the feasibility of setting up collective protection with regard to the residual risk explained in the previous step.
Collective protection is preferable to individual protective equipment. In some cases, however, PPE may be more appropriate in view of the various assessment criteria.
