1. What are the service provider's obligations? How do I select one?
The service provider must know and train its personnel in the risks specific to its business. It draws up its own Single Document (DU) and its own chemical risk assessment.
Selection criteria may be based on the contractor's management system and mandatory references, such as :
health/safety/environment manual ;
health/safety/environment manager ;
certification/habilitation (or the process in progress) of a health, safety and environment management system;
professional approvals and accreditations (pest control, waterproofing, asbestos removal).
