How to analyze an SDS in 16-section ?

In the European Union, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are the means of communicating to recipients of substances and mixtures the information they need to manage chemical risk. The SDS is a document introduced by Regulation (EC) N°1907/2006 (REACH).

In addition, content requirements have changed with the update of REACH Annex II (Regulation (EU) 2020/878), which applies from 1 ^er January 2021, and becomes mandatory in all cases by December 31, 2022.

When you receive an MSDS, you need to retrieve certain information to identify your regulatory obligations. It is therefore essential to know what information must be included, and to master its structure so as to know where to find it easily.
