1. Drawing up an inventory of CMR agents

décret n° 2024-307du 4 avril 2024 introduces the employer's obligation to trace worker exposure to carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic chemical agents. It is useful to remind the reader of the definition of a CMR agent. A CMR agent is a product which may cause cancer, or which may be mutagenic or reprotoxic. The following hazard statements are associated with them.

  • H340: may induce genetic abnormalities.

  • H350: may cause cancer.

  • H360: may damage fertility or the unborn child.

  • H362i: may be harmful to breast-fed babies.

  • H350i: may cause cancer by inhalation.
