6. How do I update my notifications?

Elements may lead to a change in the classification of your substance: new knowledge on intrinsic properties, evolution of classification criteria... In this case, you need to modify the content of your notification.

The update process is identical to that for creating a notification. All three tools described above can be used. The additional information required is :

  • notification number ;

  • the EC number of the substance or the list number assigned following notification;

  • submission number (only via IUCLID 5) ;

  • justification for the update.
