The CLP regulation requires manufacturers, importers and distributors to propose a classification for a substance in order to identify its hazards (see Understanding the principles of the CLP regulation [FIC 0158] ).

It will enable :

  • information on these hazards via labelling and safety data sheets;

  • propose management/protection measures for users and the environment;

  • propose classifications for mixtures/preparations based on this substance....
