4. Monitor and control PPE

You will also check that the PPE continues to comply with the requirements applicable to it. In this way, you ensure that the PPE remains compliant with the specifications established at the time of purchase (see Choosing to use personal protective equipment (PPE) [FIC 0179] ). This monitoring will enable you to replace it (or the consumables) if the wear or expiry criteria are reached.
