6. Our advice

6.1 Ensure proper use of PPE

Identify PPE, keep PPE validity certificates up to date, and train users to fill in their follow-up sheets. For both you and the user, this will ensure that the PPE provided is fit for purpose (see Storing and maintaining PPE [FIC 0184] ).

  • Integrate PPE into the control and measurement plan (planning, follow-up).

  • Use traceability tools (labels, punches, badges, etc.).
