2. Is a manufactured substance automatically placed on the market?
Based on the inventory, you can identify manufactured substances. For these substances, you have manufacturer status.
If you belong to a group, it's important to know whether the group is made up of several legal entities or a single legal entity. This is because manufacturer status falls to the legal entity that manufactures the substance.
A manufactured substance is not automatically placed on the market. In fact, if it is used directly on site or exported, it is considered a manufactured substance, but not placed on the market.
Substances used directly on site, and manufactured in quantities of more than one tonne per year, may benefit from partial or total exemptions from registration obligations (isolated intermediates used on site, etc.). These exemptions...
