4. Environmental impact

Within the scope of the management system, this involves identifying all the organization's activities, products or services that are likely to have an impact on the environment. This means taking into account both normal operating situations and special situations, such as maintenance operations.

Environmental impacts resulting from foreseeable accident situations are also identified.

4.1 Impacts under normal operating conditions

The aim is to identify and quantify as far as possible the environmental impacts associated with each of its activities. The organization can divide the site into several units: services, departments or processes, in order to facilitate data collection by distributing the corresponding workload.
