3. What are the prospects for quality management system architecture?

To rephrase, this model of the Business Architecture Concepts figure indicates that the operational performance of a company, and this is probably also true for a public service, depends on four essential factors:

  • the value attributed by interested parties to the products and services promised or offered by the company;

  • the value stream(s), grouping together the key value components produced by the company, which underpin the customer experience;

  • the processes that enable the economic production of the goods and services in question ;

  • the skills (competencies, knowledge) of the company and its employees, both existing and to be developed, which are the sine qua non of value creation for customers and other stakeholders.
