MLA – Multilateral agreement – Accord multilatéral

Agreement between several accreditors recognizing the equivalence of the accreditations they issue and the services provided within the scope of these accreditations (see chapter 2).

Calibration (VIM 2.39)

Operation which, under specified conditions, in a first step establishes a relationship between the values and associated measurement uncertainties provided by standards and the corresponding indications with associated uncertainties, then in a second step uses this information to establish a relationship for obtaining a measurement result from an indication.
