1. What new words in ISO 9001:2015?

ISO 9001:2015 has introduced new terms and concepts into organizations' quality approaches, detailed in ISO 9000.

Among the new terms used in the reference system, either common terms or terms borrowed from other reference systems, the following stand out in particular:

  • the notion of risk ;

  • knowledge ;

  • interested parties ;

  • strategy ;

  • performance ;

  • measurement ;

  • documented information.

Finally, another new feature of this version is the ten-chapter structure of the standard itself, now applied to all ISO management system standards.
