    Making every product safe is not just a legal requirement (there are many European directives in this area!). Above all, it's a response to one of society's major challenges. Safety must be the first criterion to be taken into account right from the design stage. Withdrawing products from the market or issuing a recall is extremely costly for the company that has to do it. This is the case of pharmaceutical laboratories forced to withdraw their medicines from the market following evidence of harmful side effects. KLEBER was forced to stop manufacturing its V10 and V12 tires after a series of bursts deemed abnormal by consumers.
