4. Mistakes to avoid

4.1 Don't neglect to submit your declaration; make sure it's complete

If no declaration is made, or if the declaration is incomplete, the department responsible for monitoring the facility may take the place of the declarant and, on the basis of the information available to it, determine the data relating to polluting emissions to be included in the register.
