8. Mistakes to avoid

8.1 ICPE-SEVESO classification change: don't forget to identify and apply the resulting operating requirements

The grandfathering procedure only allows you to continue an existing activity without having to go through the declaration, registration or authorization procedure.

This does not exempt you from applying the operating requirements of the regulatory texts applicable to your new classification:

  • identification of applicable texts ;

  • checking your compliance ;

  • compliance planning ;

  • validation of the compliance schedule with the ICPE inspectorate.
