1. List planned substances and activities, then compare results with nomenclature headings

This stage requires you to take into account the following aspects of your planned substances and activities:

  • their nature (e.g. types and characteristics of products involved, woodworking, metalworking, plastics, storage, manufacturing, product processing, etc.);

  • their volume, i.e. what can be quantified (quantities, flows, pressures, periodicity, power, etc.);

  • operating conditions (temperature, pressure, above-ground or underground storage, etc.).

This work is to be carried out in detail with the help of the production manager.
