1.1 Evaluate the wisest investment
Don't systematically opt for a minimum investment to comply with regulations, which currently require a simplified GHG inventory (mandatory energy and process scope). Carrying out a Bilan Carbone® in the first year will cost more than a simplified GHG inventory, but will ultimately prove more profitable. In fact, the regulations require :
to update the inventory every 3 years; the Bilan Carbone® enables an exhaustive initial inventory to be drawn up, which will be extremely useful for the mandatory updates;
propose improvement actions and estimate future GHG reduction gains: thanks to its exhaustive scope, which takes into account various sources of emissions, and...
