Managing a project with the PRINCE2® method

In the world of project management, where agility and precision are essential, PRINCE2® (Projects in Controlled Environments) has established itself as the gold standard. This methodology, which originated in the United Kingdom, has gained worldwide recognition for its effectiveness in managing projects of various sizes and types.

More than just a method, PRINCE2® is a comprehensive system that can be adapted to the specific characteristics and unique requirements of each project.

This document introduces this method while covering the prerequisites for both PRINCE2® certifications:

• Foundation, which aims to provide knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of PRINCE2® and the relationship between principles, processes, themes, deliverables, and roles in projects;

• Practitioner, which assesses the application of fundamental principles (and the reasoning behind them) in project settings, as well as the ability to adapt these principles to specific scenarios and evaluate the results.
