The previous paragraph demonstrated the use of the bond graph language in an inverse model approach. The resulting system of equations is the result of an inversion of the direct model, and requires a rigorous preliminary check to ensure that the model is indeed mathematically invertible. The first checks are carried out on the structure of the model, i.e. independently of the numerical values of the model parameters
