4. Conclusion

Dendrimeric and hyperbranched polymers have recently been successfully used in biomedical applications, such as drug delivery and cancer diagnosis. This article illustrates possible new applications, on the one hand as additives for wood glues, the mechanical performances obtained with the new adhesive blends being comparable to those recorded with high-performance phenolic and polyurethane resins, and, on the other hand, as additives for tannin foams with improved mechanical performances.
