1. Understanding deadlines

There is always a need to take into account the additional delays that will inevitably result from locating the project abroad. The greater the distances, both geographically and in terms of cultural differences, the greater the impact. This is not to prejudge the superiority or inferiority of the cultural environment, but simply to emphasize that the impact of lifestyle on the progress of the study and the project must never be underestimated.

There's no point in trying to objectively compare notions of priority, which vary widely from country to country. It's more than enough to know what they are and take them into account.

For example: although you should never generalize such observations, in Brazil, when you're told "in 5 minutes", you have to understand "2 hours"; when you're told "2 hours", you have to understand "tomorrow"; and...
