6.1 Resources

Resources must be listed for each phase of the life cycle. They constitute a resource available to the designer. They can be used instantaneously or over time (storage or accumulation).

1) Substances

• All the elements making up the system (product and ancillary products) and its environment: components, interacting components, external environments. External environments are therefore resources.

• Sustainability vision :

  Number of components.

  Non-lost, functional, non-redundant, non-disposable, non-toxic, fragmentable, reusable components.
