6. Our advice
Beware of atmospheric conditions which, in some regions or workshops, are particularly extreme. In dry air, if you assemble parts with polyurethane or silicone adhesives (adhesives that react chemically using the humidity in the air), experience shows that fifteen days after assembly, tensile tests are negative: there is no mechanical strength.
Think of the chemical reaction: it's not always complete!
Record the temperature and relative humidity of the atmosphere, and enter this information in your work sheets.
Always use the conditions recommended by the supplier of adhesive, glue or any other filler material.
Set up in areas where temperature and humidity can be controlled.
