Scrum is one of today's most popular and widely used agile methods, with its focus on organization and project management.

2.1 Scrum: definition and fundamental principles

Scrum means scrum in rugby. It uses the values and spirit of rugby, and adapts them to development projects. Like the pack when carrying a rugby ball, the development team works collectively, united towards a precise objective. Like a scrum-half, the ScrumMaster spurs on team members, repositioning them in the right direction and setting the tempo to ensure the project's success."
