7. Bringing meaning to life

It is, at every moment :

  • be able to evoke in the user an emotional charge linked to a sense of balance and well-being;

  • be able to convey to third parties the expression of a personal imprint, reflecting or complementing a personality.

This semiological function can be defined in two ways:

  • the built environment must, first and foremost, satisfy the end-user in terms of proportions, shapes and materials, while meeting strictly functional expectations;

  • but the built environment is also part of the brand image: that of its user. This relationship with others is a matter of esteem.
