Bibliometrics

Analysis of textual information, correlation of information.

Cluster

Statistical grouping of bibliographic references, for example, according to the frequency with which certain terms appear in them. The result is a variety of groups, depending on the statistical treatment chosen (principal component analysis, for example).

Elaborate information

New information obtained from the statistical processing of a set of data (e.g. a group of bibliographic references).

Benchmarking

Comparison, for example, of the expertise of different authors, or of the research areas of different institutions. For authors, this is obtained by a matrix correlation between the author field and the keyword field, for example....
