2.1 What is a corporate incubator?
The corporate incubator is one of the tools for open innovation with start-ups. Mainly designed to facilitate collaboration between start-ups and the corporate group, it can meet a number of different objectives, and is part of a range of start-up schemes and programs that can be mobilized by the corporate group. What we define here as corporate incubation is a program designed to support (external) start-ups by the group itself, with a view to possible collaboration (whether in commercial terms or with a view to acquiring a financial stake).
