8. Check the expiry of the opposition period

Within nine months of publication of the mention of the grant of the European patent in the European Patent Bulletin , any person may file an opposition to this patent with the EPO ( article 99 (1) CBE ; see Obtaining a European patent: the opposition procedure [FIC 1627] ).
