1. What is incoherent radiation?

The simplest definition of incoherent radiation is: any radiation that is not coherent. This is in line with the definition given in decree no. 2010-750: "any radiation that is not laser radiation with a wavelength between 100 nm and 1 mm". Coherent radiation is radiation emitted by a laser [SL 6 150] , produced by stimulated emission. In theory, monochromatic laser radiation would have an infinite coherence time and infinite coherence wavelength. Incoherent radiation does not possess sufficient spatial and temporal coherence to create interference without a dedicated device....
