1. What is incoherent radiation?

The simplest definition of incoherent radiation is: any radiation that is not coherent. This is in line with the definition given in decree no. 2010-750: "any radiation that is not laser radiation with a wavelength between 100 nm and 1 mm". Coherent radiation is radiation emitted by a laser [SL 6 150] , produced by stimulated emission. In theory, monochromatic laser radiation would have an infinite coherence time and infinite coherence wavelength.
