This economy considers that natural resources are present in finite quantities, and that designed goods are nutrients for goods manufacturers. In addition to these two principles, it emphasizes the need to set up loops between the various players in the technosphere.

In this article, we have proposed a formalization of industrial regenerators that enables the creation of revalorization loops in the technical sphere. To do this, we drew inspiration from nature. Four regenerators were identified to feed each of the technical sectors and nature: the disconnector, the disassembler, the destroyer and the de-technifier. Their role was defined by focusing on the nutrients they can process and the internal operations they perform.
