4. Conclusion

Employers have a duty to protect the physical and mental health of their employees. This requires knowledge of both psychosocial risks (stress, internal violence including harassment, external violence, etc.) and their potential effects on health (chronic stress, cardiovascular disease, musculoskeletal disorders, anxiety-depressive illnesses, etc.).

Assessing these risks and organizing a prevention plan requires a project-based approach, with methods and tools adapted to the issues involved. These activities must be integrated into the overall approach to occupational risk prevention.
