2. Methodology

To meet the objective of this research, a laboratory experiment was carried out with 80 volunteer participants. It compared their movements on foot when information was transmitted to them in LCs with their movements when they were not wearing LCs.

2.1 Experimental framework

The tests took place in the laboratory, in a safe environment with controlled lighting. To assess the impact of LC use on gait parameters, two lanes were marked out with lines on the floor: a straight course and a winding course (figure 1 ).
