3.1 EPR channel for clothing textiles

In France, a large part of product recycling is organized around extended producer responsibility (EPR). The EPR sector for TLC is at the crossroads of a number of public policies, from the environment to the social and solidarity economy, and in particular the integration of people in difficulty, all with a view to regional development and the development of a competitive sector.

This responsibility has applied to all TLC marketers since 1 er January 2007, through decree no. 2008-602, and requires them to provide or contribute to the recycling and treatment of waste from their articles placed on the market for consumers (article L.541-10-3 of the Environment Code).
