3. Ergonomics of wheelchair sports performance

The ergonomics of wheelchair sports performance, defined in the first part of this article (figure 1 ), comprises the following four parameters: propulsion efficiency, health/safety, comfort and sports performance. In this section, we propose to develop these four parameters for both the cranked wheelchair and the basketball FMC, using the various items of the conceptual model.
