Algorithmes de mécano-régulation ; mechano-regulation algorithms

Analytical and numerical approaches predict bone tissue differentiation under mechanical loading. In fracture cases, for example, fibrous tissue, cartilage or bone may appear, depending on the level of stimulation.

Aseptic loosening; aseptic loosening

This loosening of the prosthesis is due to an inflammatory reaction caused by wear particles (polyethylene, metal, ceramic, etc.) which leads to periprosthetic osteolysis, i.e. damage to the bone tissue around the prosthesis.

Mechanotransduction; Mechano-transduction

Cells set up a biological response adapted to mechanical stimuli. Responsible for touch and hearing, this phenomenon also controls the human body's adaptation to the mechanical environment....
