6.1 Discussion of the normative aspects of ISO

To date, there is no ISO "materials" standard specific to biomimetic apatite. In fact, the following standards exclude biomimetic apatite from their fields of application (or via the definition of constituents). It is possible to make partial use of the following standards:

  • ISO 13779-2 :2008, ISO 13779-3 :2008, ISO 13779-4 :2002 ;

  • ISO 13779-6 :2015 on hydroxyapatite;
