Chemical or biological molecule that accelerates a given reaction without altering the final reaction equilibrium.

Protein-based biological catalyst enabling a chemical reaction to take place under physicochemical conditions compatible with living organisms.

Genetic process by which a parent DNA molecule is duplicated to produce two daughter DNA molecules that are identical to each other and to the parent DNA molecule.
